I’m sure you’ve heard this sad news by now.  One of our greatest American writers, Kurt Vonnegut died at age 84.

Did you read the obituaries?  How do you sum-up someone’s life in just a few paragraphs, especially if you don’t know the person?  And so it goes.

If you really want to know more about Kurt and his unique contribution to the world, just read or re-read his amazing books and essays.  They are brilliantly imaginative, honest, funny, and always thought-provoking.  Slaughterhouse Five.  Cat’s Cradle.  Timequake.  Hocus Pocus.  The Siren’s Of Titan.  Breakfast Of Champions.  Palm Sunday.  A Man Without A Country.  And on and on…  I love them all.  Long live Mr. Vonnegut.
